shofar teaching with every order!
A Shofar is a horn taken from an animal, i.e., ram, wild goat, gazelle, antelope or kudu. Never a cow because of the golden calf incident in Exodus 12. There are two types of shofarot (plural for shofar) -- the Ram's Horn and the Yemenite. The Ram's horn sounds like an animal crying and is used many times to sound a call for repentance. The Yemenite Shofar has a more jubilee sound of celebration and it is used in praise and worship to the Lord. There is a traditional way to blow the shofar; however, today the Holy Spirit is moving upon people in all sorts of sounds and uses, i.e., in healings and deliverances, spiritual warfare, etc.
